Coo-Coo-Ca-Choo

This whole week has just been totally nuts!

Mundane and nuts, if that makes sense.

They came today to do the final touches on making sure the lift was stable. We are good to go!

Andrew had great reports from school yesterday (which I somehow missed, with the teacher's response to the previous day's note) and today! She even mentioned what a sweet boy he is, and I'm just so happy he's showing them that side of him.

Liam did such a great job in his Special Instruction/Speech cotreat today. He answered so many questions with his dynavox! He's still pretty junky, but he seems to be making his way back to baseline.

We also got a new suction machine today. I was apprehensive to switch brands, but they aren't carrying the original one anymore. Not only does it seem to work pretty well, but it's SO quiet. That'll take some getting used to.

I was about to end this, but I just remembered something I'd love to be able to look back on.

Talking to my gram tonight, she found out that my Aunt Gail (I can't believe it's been almost two years!) had some pictures of her parents that my cousin passed along to her. She already has a copy of the one elusive picture of her mom, so she asked me if I'd like the copy Aunt Gail had. That really meant more to me than I even know how to express. She said she wanted me to have it, because she knew I'd appreciate it. I think I'll put it right under her mother of pearl cross that gram gave to me. I'm inexplicably grateful for the relationship we have. After so many years of not seeing each other, I never dreamed we'd be where we are now. Especially after not being able to know my dad's parents for very long before they passed, she's just... her relationship is invaluable to me. She's an angel on this planet.

Okay, that's really all for tonight now.
